I actually don't know how I'm containing myself enough to sit down and write this.
Because I am legitimately jumping out of my shoes.
Pete and Claire over at Good Style Shop were nice enough to let my friend Anastasia and I pass through today -
and boy did we pass through.
How this place has managed to exist for 3 years without me hearing about it is likely a testament to my un-coolness, but I have officially fallen completely and madly in love in a you-so-don't-need-another-obsession-but-actually-you-sort-of-do kind of way.
The only curated vintage shop in Madison, the Good Style Shop gets most of its stuff from Claire's routine sourcing trips to New York - and she's then kind enough share the love.
Which is more than can be said for my hoarding tendencies during today's outing.
They also host in store performances and art shows year-round, which succeeds at making them somehow even cooler.
Anyhow, there's literally nothing else like it around.
I'm sure the $80 missing from my bank account would agree.
But don't take my word for it (or LeVar Burton's)....
And Fun Fact: the store's previous owners are actually members of the band Peaking Lights, who just finished up at SXSW.
So head on over. I promise we didn't buy everything. We will though. So run.
