Madison has a fashion week.
Please tell me you didn't know that.
Because, honestly - as a self-titled "fashion blogger" (which, I admit, is already giving me a trillion and half more ounces of credit than I deserve) it would be downright humiliating if I were the last person in Madison to know that it had its own fashion week.
Annnddd unfortunately, folks, it seems like I am.

After showing up a good two hours late to Moda Magazine's "Night Out" at The Icon on State Street, I immediately barged my way into far too many conversations to which I had nothing to add - only to find out that there are some seriously awesome people in this hip little cow-ridden town.
I don't know if you'll find this as interesting as I did, but because I am rightful owner of this not-mine-at-all-totally-belongs-to-Google blog, I decided I'd share today's little discoveries.
OK. So ... here's what's what:
- Moda Magazine was started by two UW students (who are also unsettlingly stylish).
- Style Shuffler is a savvy new shopping start-up from two smart guys situated near the Capitol. (Can someone please compliment me on my astonishing alliteration abilities?)
- I am insanely unhealthily jealous of Rachel Frank (@ http://www.rachelfrankdesign.com/). I've decided she's making my Oscar gown when I get invited for the hidden talent I haven't yet uncovered.
you can see her designs at....
the Fashion show on Friday!
(Fashion show, fashion show, fashion show at lunch...dinner)
Friday, The Sett, Union South, 6pm
Come join me gawk at people awkwardly and pretend to know fashion terms I don't.
OH. I did manage to take one original picture tonight.
I'm like responsibility incarnate.
