I basically loved everything about Ali's outfit when I ran into her on the street at dusk.
The marketing and entrepreneurship major's layering was superb, and the contrast between her ultra-feminine, ethnic and androgynous pieces was parfait.
Olive pants, pink shoes, black leather jacket, sparkly bow-ties, tribal print ... I never would have thought to put it all together, but somehow it all worked. Effortlessly.
Ali was incredibly friendly, and her laid-back demeanor and attitude towards fashion (comfort & weather) totally rounded out the look. Isn't it funny how someone's personality can be an accessory all on its own?
I think that's why some people can "pull something off", while others have a more difficult time. Your aura (?) has to compliment your ensemble, or something seems amiss.
