I don't know what's come over me.

Two months ago, I wouldn't have been caught dead in any legwear not fit for a stage crew devotee. Now suddenly, all I can think about are obnoxiously printed pants of the most clownish design.
I've been mindlessly drooling over pinning them left and right - usually with some wonderfully hilarious comment showcasing how adorably quirky I am.
Like these, which I oh-so-cleverly described as "clown reminiscent".

Help me.
Somebody.
Please.
Anyhow - you can see why I hyperventilated a little when I saw first year Pharmacy student, Christina, yesterday on the street. Even during exam week, she commendably took the time to put on these mindblowingly cool pants.
Good choice, Christina. Unless, of course, you consider the fact that you have them to blame for the several minutes of precious study time you lost as I raved about how awesome you looked.
And got uncomfortably close to your gorgeous Madewell jewelry.
She said that although she wants to feel comfortable while studying, she still wants to express herself.
Best lookin' pharmacist I've ever seen - that's for sure.
Cheers.
you look great! love your necklace =)))))

Love these pants – she looks great! Also dig the ones you found, esp the Current/Elliots.

Haha, what a lovely post! I've always thought pants are quite prosaic and work as a canvas to a beautiful top but I absolutely adore the notion of STATEMENT pants - especially with the array of options we have today (floral, graphic, leopard print .... and clown reminiscent pants haha!). I love your street style spotting - she is indeed one stylish Pharmacy student!
ReplyDeleteAnd no, sadly I don't own one of the glittery camera straps I posted about ... though my mouse keeps hovering towards the checkout icon, but my bank account forcibly removes it. :( The DIY version is so amazing! I am, quite tragically, hopeless at anything DIY though and I fear that my camera would result in a dismantled mess if I even attempted to make my own rendition of a pretty camera strap HAHA.
I hope you have an absolutely sparkling week Gabby!
