Look Sharp, Sconnie - Midwestern Fashion Nerd, Chronic Over-thinker

Hats with widows' peaks.

So, as I sit here watching TLC's new exploitative winner of a show, "My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding", I realize that, though I may be petrified hesitant about entering the "real world", I can at least rejoice in the fact that I'm not a 17-year-old-pregnant-crystal-encrusted-gown-wearing-victim-of-extreme-sexism gypsy bride.
There's always a bright side.

Unfortunately, though, I'm struggling to envision too many other horizons as dismally bleak as those currently facing us "Communications" majors of the world.

I mean, at the very least you could rename the thing.

C'mon, really? "Communications"?
Isn't there some "administrative assistant"-esque euphemism we can put to work here?
Wearing: dress: American Apparel, boots: Good Style Shop, watch: Fossil (similar), belt: The Limited (similar)
  "Interchange articulation","Correspondence scholarship", "Transmissive sciences"?

Anyhoot, let's for now just avoid any discussion of unsettlingly insufficient pay checks, intolerably grungy basements apartments, belittling employers and menial labor, and reflect instead upon the celebration of separation itself.
How much better would this have looked with one of these? #biggestregrets
Hello awkward wizard robe clad self and favorite favorite favorite boots ever.

So favorite, in fact, that I insisted upon wearing them in order to sufficiently defeminize what might have otherwise been
... well ...
feminine.

Graduation hasn't changed a thing.

Cheers.

Thanks for the comment, I'm following you back. :)

Congrats on graduating, although as I too am studying communications I concur that the postgrad world looks slightly bleak...at least you have graduated and have entered the 'real world' looking phenomenal! Love your style and what you have done with that dress. Gorgeous!

    Congrats and Enjoy!

Congrats on your big achievement Gabrielle! I love your boots too, nothing like your favorite pair of boots to carry/strut you across the scholarly stage/ cat walk! I'm so glad you liked my dress, it was truly a feat! I'm a new fan of yours and I'm looking forward to more looks from you! I'm a midwestern girl myself and am anxious to migrate to where I can find more fashion oriented people like you and me. I can't wait to see where your fashion adventures take you.

    Cheers,
    Lily

Congratulations on graduating. While you studied Comms, I did Pols and international relations, so I too wondered where my degree would take me. I think that in the end, you'll find yourself working somewhere you never would have imagined! And, must say you looked beautiful!

Congrats! And My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding is pretty good, but Toddlers and Tiaras takes the cake in exploitative reality shows and I am ashamed to admit I am addicted to it! I am also terrified of starting the 'real' world, but luckily I don't graduate for another two years, with a useless degree (BFA) :)

Congrats! You look so pretty here... I love your white dress.

P.S. I got my vintage Coach bag on etsy.com for pretty cheap (and I'm sure ebay would have a few nice ones as well)

Even in these Wholesale hermes handbags online there are also lot of chances to get replica one so before buying any louis vuitton wallets you need to take a look at the bag and not only check out the overall condition but also you should check for the cheap omega watches marks of authenticity of the bags. It can usually be seen on the logo printing, find a christmas gifts stitches, cards, zippers and the texture of the bags. These things can really show if a certain swiss rolex is real or not.
