Knit leather day dream.

I wish I could say that my sense of style was always on trend, all the time.
I wish I could say that when neons were in, neons were on - and when pastels peaked, pastels took precedent.

Unfortunately, try as I might to embrace the softened tones and floral palettes of springtime, something deep within my materialistic soul always calls to me from seasons past. Crisp fall mornings, crunchy leaves afoot, creepy-attempts-at-Harry-Potter-themed jack-o-lanterns...

Nothing gets the wheels of nostalgia a-turnin'
quite like vivid flashbacks sparked by the smell of autumn air.

So naturally, when I day dream (read: online shop), I immediately revert to outfit creations centered around 50 degree weather and frosted flora. Proof? My little Polyvore ensemble here - which of course had to be recreated immediately.

I like to call these "hobbit fingers".

So yes, maybe it was 90 degrees out.
And yes, maybe black pants, wool and denim don't jive with atmospheric boiling points.
But they sure do make me happy...
and where happiness is concerned, logic is really just a pesky afterthought.
