Look Sharp, Sconnie - Midwestern Fashion Nerd, Chronic Over-thinker

Mildly Urban Mermaid.

Is it possible for a wall to be more photogenic than a person?
Ohhh, I think we all know that the answer to this is yes.
A thousand times yes. (name that flick)

In fact, these red bricks may do more for my outfit than any creepy signature smile ever could. Which is great, because somehow in between stints of leaping aside to let the embarrassingly Midwestern (read: mortifyingly dressed and beer-belly abound) mattress movers pass, I managed to forget to flash those $3000 charming chompers. [sorry mom]
Ok Ok. I guess I should probably comment on the clothes, considering you likely didn't stop by to read self-depreciating rants about my orthodontic past. (If you did, though, we should totally chat. Because OMGzz - which color rubber bands should I get for my braces!? Spring theme? Pink and purple? Hardest decision ever.)
Anyhooo, this wee top here is one of my favs - not only because of the color and texture , but because I'm currently/always addicted to the cropped component.
Hold your horses. No midriff here. "Never nude" aesthetic (Arrested Development, anyone?) brought to you by an Urban Outfitters maxi, which may or may not [may] have cost less than a typical venture to Starbucks.
me oh my. Wearing: shirt: Free People (similar), skirt: UO (similar), shoes: boutique in Rome (similar), necklace: up north boutique (sort of similar?)
Overall, I think these photos are nicely summed up by a certain pedestrian comment, that I'd like to think was meant for myself, but may just as well have been directed at the mane of a homeless woman nearby.

"She looks like a mermaid".

In a sea of red brick.

Ahoy.

Cheers.

PS: I don't want to be annoying - but I would seriously love you forever times infinity plus one everything you say, if you happen to be on Chictopia and +1 or "favorite" me over at Chictopia's Magic Mirror Contest. (I'm supposed to be Snow White)
Just one baby step on my lifelong quest to become a real-live Disney princess.

Urban mermaid totally sums it up. Love this look, and I'd like to note that you've got way better style than the brick wall.

Haha I remember the horror of having braces and the life changing decision of which colour of elastic...even though I picked the same colour every time without fail!
