Look Sharp, Sconnie - Midwestern Fashion Nerd, Chronic Over-thinker

Off the Runway, Onto the Blog

To be perfectly honest, I've been feeling a bit uninspired lately.

Whether that's due to the complete lack of conviction on the part of nice weather (seriously, sun, your effort is embarrassing), or to the fact that I'm graduating in 2 weeks with no hope, desire, or prospect of future employment - I can't be quite sure.
(Actually, yes. I'm pretty sure it's in fact the prospect of homelessness that prevails here).

Either way, the last thing I've been in the mood for is quippy banter, especially with my depressingly unresponsive blogger interface.

That being said, there's nothing like a small (read: giant) dose of jealousy to get me rearing again. Yup. That good ol' materialistic lust takes charge, and I know everything's going to be OK.
Cue envy.
Kate. Wearing: shirt: DIY!, jacket: BCBG (similar), skirt: Ella Moss, necklace: DIY
Jen. Wearing: dress: Michael Stars
True, my coping mechanism of hoarding unattainably gorgeous images of drool-worthy fare on Pinterest may connote a potentially hazardous addiction, but we'll ignore that unfortunate tidbit for now and focus instead on these equally drool-worthy TASA Fashion Show spectator styles (at least they required that I negate my hermit tendencies for a commendable 20 minutes).
Emily: Wearing: shirt: H&M, skirt: Francescas
So behold, ladies (and single/nonexistent male reader) - and join me for 15 seconds of forgetting your woes and feasting instead on shallower, less complicated concerns.
Chelsi. Wearing: skirt, top (similar): Anthropologie, blazer: self-made?, shoes: Jeffrey Campbell (similar)
Like Jeffrey Campbell platforms and vintage frocks.
Sara (model too!). Wearing: dress: Vintage (Rethreads), shoes: Franco Sarto

Ohh, denial.

Heather. Wearing: jacket: Diane Von Furstenberg (similar), shirt: Sandra, shoes: Zara [thanks Amandine] clutch: self-designed (more on her later)
Moi. Wearing: shirt: Forever 21, pants, necklace: H&M, shoes: Zara

Cheers.
PS: [I'm fully aware I abuse my PS privileges] I'm on Facebook now :)
