There are certain fashion trends that I feel more comfortable rocking in private than in public.
The bandeau would certainly be one of those trends.
True, when it comes to the beach, the bandeau seems to be the conservative route to go,
but when deciding to take it to the street
it's a whole 'nother enchilada (similar shapes, no?)
In truth, I've actually been wearing bandeaus around my apartment for a few years now - but only recently have I contemplated breaching the boundary between my bungalo and the real world (and by real world I mean isolated balcony, soo...#hermitproblems)
I thought I'd try it out two different ways -
one in the traditional beach-going vain,
and another with more lofty destinations in mind.
|me. Wearing [left]: bandeau (similar), skirt: Mink Pink, boots: Good Style Shop, necklace: H&M, watch: Anne Klein (similar), [right]: shorts: American Apparel, headband: Banana Republic|
And though I felt pretty comfortable in both (thanks to sufficiently mom-waisted bottoms),
I still think that a white blazer is in the (credit)cards for this lbb[bra].
Also: pretty sure my boss can see my balcony from his office window.
