Look Sharp, Sconnie - Midwestern Fashion Nerd, Chronic Over-thinker

Carrousel clown.

I thought that I'd share with you another one of my not-at-all-haute couture Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week ensembles.
moi. Wearing: blouse: Necessary Clothing, trench: Torn by Ronny Kobo (similar), suede skirt: UO (similar)
This particular get-up just happened to camouflage me nicely into the Tuileries Gardens, which currently houses one of Paris's 50,000 carrousels (seriously...the number of fake horses in this city is starting to get weird).
What do you say? Is a bulbous red nose is in order here? Or maybe a fluorescent rainbow wig?

And as you can imagine, I blended particularly well into the all black and white color palettes of the proceeding Chanel show.

.....

False.
I did not.

But this street style pic by Phillip Revellh makes a kind-hearted attempt to normalize my carnivalesque attire.
But he will never normalize my face.

Nevaa.

Cheers.

hi Gabrielle! thank you so much for your lovely comment on my blog. you are so sweet and I really appreciate your kind words :) really made my day!

haha anyway it's funny your outfit seemed to blend in with the carousels. this is probably the first time I've seen a trench coat in the form of a vest! yet you showed it off perfectly with the striped red and white sleeves of your top. interesting mix of everything but the final outcome looks great on you :)

I'm a little overdue in saying thanks for the super-sweet blog comment - it really made my day. I'm super jeal of your Paris adventures, btw, and that you got to see so many fashion icons up close and personal. Hating on you just a little bit for your luck but please do keep sharing ;)
