PSYCH.
So gullible.
Nope.
It began during my Parisian summer. Thrifted leather minis errday.
It steadily progressed, however, into a more practical rendition falling no higher than two inches above the knee. (thank you adult employment)
My favorite part is that there's something so inherently feminine about it - so assumedly formal and figure-flattering.
Frankly, everything I'm not.
That's what makes it so perfect. I'm instantly able to slap sophistication in the face.
One bulky sweatshirt or a baggy tee, a torn top or a mini midriff-baring bralette - and I instantly comment ironically (or what I'd like to think might be the meaning of ironically) on the formerly stifling woman's wardrobe staple.

I almost wore this with sneakers, actually. A double-cheek slap, if you will. But the maroon & royal blue combo with which I'm currently infatuated was calling much too loudly to be ignored.

So what say you, boos?
Skirts: Liberating or limiting? Too traditional? Or can they be revamped?
A-line? Pencil?

ReplyDeletelove this look!soooooo pretty!that top is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteand sorry for the late reply,i'd love to share my thoughts of colette!i think it's definitely a shame not going there.you're right about the price.but actually the super expensive price is mainly for clothing.they also sell books, cds, iphone case, camera, perfume, nail polish, cosmetic, and something interesting.so the price varies a lot.take me for example,i got an interesting lip balm of cupcake flavor, which was 4 euros.even if you don't buy anything,it's pretty nice to just hang around there, after all,it's seen as a fashion spot in paris.ah and they have cool window display as well and they change it regularly, like every week!
