What?
A Saturday post?
'Tis true, 'tis true - because, this morning I woke up at the ungodly hour of 4:30am (heads up: I'm typing this half asleep) to drive to Milwaukee and film a wee segment for the local NBC affiliate, WTMJ-4.
4 hours of driving for two minutes of awkward air time.
Cha ching!
And in no way am I being modest when I say awkward.
This girl is no Stacy London. In fact, I'm pretty certain that the slew of horrific pets on the Real Housewives have more command of the camera than myself.
Nonetheless, there's nothing like a good unprepared question and answer sequence to get the morning wheels a-spinnin'.
And who'd a thunk that when push came to shove, I'd be so charmingly forgiving of my Midwestern state mates. It's true, though. No one ever accused us of being TOO on-trend.
Glass half full. Glass half full.
Cheers to Sattyday y'all.
omg this is so freaking cool. Congrats!!

Congrads on your win!!! There are huge networks of fashion bloggers in New York, but we're really scattered in Wisconsin. I've only found a couple others in Milwaukee. So thrilled to find another fashion blogger!

Hey hey!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the delightful comment and yes, I was terrified of spilling, although luckily I didn't find out about the exorbitant price tag until I was flipping through an old issue of Vogue two days later! Yikes.
Your blog is awesome! I have a sneaking suspicion that if we lived in the same country, we would be best friends. ;-)
