Lately, I've been getting pretty sick of myself.
It's nice to dance around in new clothes and shoes - I won't deny it.
But there comes a point when me modeling geeky outfits fails to comment meaningfully on anything except for my own undeniable materialism.
That being said - picking outfits to blog about is fun. It forces me to be creative and really narrow down exactly what I want to say about my style each day.
Oftentimes, I find it a relief. I get to wear exactly what I want without worrying about the judgement of others.
It's my blog, and nobody has to read it if they don't want to.
Yet, I can't help but wonder if there's not some other way to highlight the things I love without constantly posing and prancing for your viewing pleasure.
Unfortunately, I know that I, myself, get bored with the blogs that only re-share editorials, post Polyvore sets, or rely upon text alone.
Even if the author is someone who's opinion I respect and love to hear,
the relevancy : eye-candy ratio still has to exist.
I essentially just said nothing.
Way to counteract one statement with the next.
But what to do?
Stop with the selfies, get on with the grinning,
or just take a thousand pictures of my shoes like I really want to do?
