Look Sharp, Sconnie - Midwestern Fashion Nerd, Chronic Over-thinker

So, what aboot it?

One time,
I had this obsession,
where I couldn't stop buying boots and they started to flood out from my closet and from under my bed and into my kitchen and bathroom and ....
Acne

Sperry

Marc Jacobs

Help. Me.

It's actually beginning to reach a point of absurdity beyond that of anything I've yet encountered as a result of my all-or-nothing frame of thought.

Tory Burch

(Including my once very real desire to be a Hobbit).

And guess what?
The recent blizzard isn't helping.
Now, not only do I need short leather ankle boots (in every heel dimension and fabric design possible), but a fantastic pair (or forty) of thick luscious fur foot-cladders to get me through the storm.
Ugg Mens

Lacoste

So let us, for a moment, just ignore the fact that I already have, say 5 or so fitting that exact description,
and insead move right along to doing what I do best:

Obsessing.

Shall we?

The North Face

Sergio Rossi

Ok.ok.
I may have cheated a bit on that last one.

But, when committed, I can handle anything.
Including 12-inch snowfalls in 5-inch stilettos.

Cheers.

Thanks for including the last pair - they're a real treat for the eyes. And I personally say you should keep on buying boots so I can ogle them (I'll never get to wear furry boots down here) ;)

      Hey Stephanie!
So, I usually like mine with a 1.5-2inch heel, and Etienne Aigner, Lucky Brand, & Dolce Vita make really affordable and really awesome short leather booties.

My ALL-TIME favorite (and most comfortable) pair of FLAT ankle boots are actually from Franco Sarto. The foot beds are really flattering. Mine was called the "Panax", but the "Priam" is almost identical. Here's a size 6 on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/190704355485?hlp=false&var=490084802796

These ones are a bit different, but GORGEOUS too: http://www.6pm.com/franco-sarto-quiet-black-metador?zfcTest=mat%3A1

And here are some more I love/have/want...

      Dolce Vita: http://www.zappos.com/dv-by-dolce-vita-rodge-tan?zlfid=2

      Lucky Brand: http://www.shoes.com/en-US/Product/EC1274750-5157564/Lucky+Brand/Silver+Cloud+Suede/Womens+Paulinne.aspx?campaign=Lucky%20Brand&catalog_name=web&CMP=KNC-adwordspla&cpc=adwordspla&gclid=CKvZxMr5vrQCFao7MgodA1oA4g&partnerid=adwordspla

      Happy shopping! :)
