Sometimes I think that I dress one way for one reason - only to realize shortly afterwards realize that my intentions were of an ulterior sort.
This outfit, for example, was initially all about color. I liked how the navy blue stripes paired with the tan snakeskin, and the 'oxblood' booties gave it that almost all-American flag punch.

But, to be honest, I'd probably like the way this jacket looked with anything.
It's strange, 'tis true. And whether or not Waldo would approve is a question to which I believe we already know the answer.
And with the specs?
C'mon. I'm practically his bride.
Where was I?
Red white tan and blue were the name of the game,
The square bricks, the striped jacket, the python pants - textures textures textures.
No offense to Uncle Sam or anything, but snakeskin, stripes and geometric symmetry (or dissymmetry for that matter) are more interesting than RW&B will ever be.

And that's OK, because I'm sure our nation's leaders have more important things to worry about than my outfit's lack of national pride.
Like taxes and war and stuff.
But I write a fashion blog, so I don't ever think about smart things like that.
that jacket is GORGEOUS. Is it warm?
