Guess who's not a model??!
This girl!
Even so, last night I got to play dress up and prance around with a lot of pretty people in Madison, WI's STRUT Catwalk, Couture, & Cocktails event.
Quite honestly, though, I spent a large portion of the time wishing I were an invisible (or at least a very very small) fly, buzzing around with her Canon Rebel and a comfortable pair of (fly-sized) shoes.
Nothing makes me more uncomfortable than people thinking that I think I'm worthy of attention based on my appearance.
My wardrobe? I can deal.
My weird face? Not so much.
Alas, everyone - every model and designer and volunteer - was super duper nice,
and I was reminded once again of just how untalented I am.
I mean, these clothes.
Some of them were sculptures in and of themselves.
So I felt, since I've been blabbing a lot lately, maybe it would be fun to just oggle some eye candy for a bit.
Feel free to critcize my laziness.
It's true. I'm tired.
But the hour and a half I spent unpinning my hair, de-taping my boobs, and scrubbing off my Frieda-red lipstick wore me out.
For the rest of my life.
No really, though.
I think I get why so many big name blogger-turned-models never include much text in their posts. They're too busy removing their makeup and rapidly changing into high-waisted granny panties.
Wait.
That last one's just me?
heh.
this looks awesome and you could definitely be a model, you look stunning

for not being a model you sure do a good impression of one. you look STUNNING! and you're rocking braids, so on trend! this event looks like so much fun and it looks like there was a lot of talent under one roof. so cool that you got to be a part of it and even cooler that you shared it with us.
