Try as I might, I just can't seem to resist a good mini pencil skirt.
For over a year now, I've tried to deny my teenage-esque taste for the elastic little wonders, but to no avail.
There's just something too irresistibly simple about a sheath of spandex, am I right?
No zipper, no hooks, no obnoxiously uncomfortable after-lunch stomach crease caused by a too-tight waistline.
Nope.
Just a good ol' stretchy stunner fit for pregnancy but meant for me.
Because you should see me wiggle around in my office chair. The stationary life is killing me, so I need all the sartorial elasticity I can get.
I'm like a 2-year-old child stuck in a 22-year old woman's body.
Believe me yet?
Anyhow. My solution to this not so sophisticated propensity is to man-i-fy it up with some frumpy, lumberjack-esque attire.

Success?
I think so.
Cheers.
The skirt looks super lovely the way you styled it with the shirt. I like pencil skirts, but I think they require high heels, and I'm not very fond of them :D too lazy for heels :D
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is gorgeous! Pretty photos! :)

I really do adore these elasticised mini pencil skirts to the extent that I have a whole section of my wardrobe dedicated to them. It's actually appalling, but such an easy staple to return to when one has 'absolutely nothing to wear' ... I love the ruche detailing on your skirt and my golly, your vertiginous legs look so amazing in them!
