I feel like heels with shorts is one of those things that celebrities and big name bloggers can pull off,
but for which normal humans get flack.
(just google "heels with shorts" and count the percentage of bloggers-to-normals that appear. it's disconcerting)
Picture it: A girl passes in front of you wearing a pair of denim shorts and a nice set of stilettos.
No way you're thinking, "look at that effortlessly chic unaffected down-home gal."
It's much more likely that you're scoffing at her impractical choice of footwear and overexposed and likely translucent (just me?) legs.
|don't worry. I was obviously belting "I am 16 going on 17" here to the chagrin of .... noone|
But as someone who
hates strongly dislikes shorts and loves high heels,
it's unlikely that you'll find my daisy dukes (yea right) accompanied by a pair of flats.
it's just not...
I prefer the clash of saggy butt-topped chicken legs with the
streamlined sharpness of a pair of heels.
Pay attention, boyzz,
this one's a keeper.
I don't know if I'd rock the duo on a daily basis, though. Still deciding whether or not the slut factor ranks a little too high for habitual wear.
Turns out I'm much more comfortable with weirdness when it doesn't involve flashing my pearly whites.
And we all know I'm not referring to my teeth.

PS: If you guys are in the Madison, WI area, come down to the BOP store tonight! [no, I'm not still in college, but don't fear! My maturity level still qualifies me for grade school status at least]
