A Different Kind of Mini. . .

MINIMALISM.

I know I know.

It sounds really artsy and obnoxious.

But I'm actually,
dare I say it,
 sort of a fan.

I mean, is there anything better than throwing on two items of the exact same color, leaving them untucked and billowing, and calling it a day?

Minimalism 2

(Aside from winning an exorbitant sum of free money) No, there is not.

True, matching may be slightly more difficult when you consider that finding two items of the exact same shade is almost as enjoyable as trying to determine whether your milk is really rancid or if it actually just smelled that bad the entire time.

Minamalism 1

But the subsequent cool-kid feeling the results from achieving the perfect mix of futuristic chic and effortless execution is [relatively] priceless. And worth it, from my standpoint,
if, of course, you gauge your sense of contentment on feelings of coolness.

Minimalism 3

So pull out those bland, understated (drab) colors,
your silk pajamas,
your giant bedtime tees
and your shapeless silhouettes

and join me as we confuse the crap out of society and simultaneously charge head-first into futuristic fashions while at the same time adopting the overall aesthetic of our agriculturally-inclined forefathers (the overall thing anyone?).

Minimalism 4

Why is life so confusing.

Wearing one single color head to toe sounds a lot of fun! It's because of the feeling of cleanliness of the whole outfit.. or shall we say a 'no non-sense outfit'! I love it either way!

i feel like i definitely have a minimal side and then a more over the top side and when i get dressed it just kind of depends on which little me is sitting on my shoulder that day. some days the minimal side is like all white everything, do it! and other days the over the top side is like every print you own at once, do it! that said both sides of me are agreeing that these looks are amazing and that we need that temperley skirt and all that free money asap.

Ooh - minimalism is hard - all your individual pieces have to be well tailored and in tip top condition. I can't even keep my white blazer clean >:(
