Guess what's hard?
Finding something relevant to say about fashion every. day.
So I can see why other bloggers turn to current events to fill their not airwaves (see: Miley Cyrus. see: kill me.) I, however, will (usually) continue to ramble on about why I like baggy things, why I struggle with embracing flats, why I'm weird, why why why, etc etc etc.
Today, however, I thought: Wouldn't it be fun to just address the outfit issue head on? Usually, I assume that analyzing an outfit step by step is . .. boring.
Boring, easy, uncreative.
ANGLES people. Good stories need ANGLES.
But today is Friday!
And also really hot!
And also I didn't sleep last night! because I may or may not have bought a bag of Werther's Originals and I also may or may not but definitely did eat the whole thing.
Boxy crop tops!
What does it all mean!?!?!??!?!
I don't know!
What I do know, however, is that . . .
1. The pants were purchased at a special little local place called "Dig n' Save".
So yes, you dig. And hell yes, you save.
I'd say these pants, which were priced according to, wait for it ... weight. (It's a classy establishment, to say the most), rounded out at about a good 63 cents.
I'm also pretty sure I complained about them being expensive.
Just don't think about who wore them last.
In this case, unlike for your grandmother's pearls, it's not romantic.
2. This top!
No idea where I got it, but it may be one of my least appropriate shirts. "Why???!" you ask. Doesn't everyone like to see my stomach?
Not even my boyfriend.
Who, I should probably mention, doesn't exist,
but if he did,
he presumably wouldn't approve either.
This baby's EERILY short & boxy. Like - - loose bra short & boxy. Like -- Spice Girl bought a crop top to get her through pregnancy and then wore it during and after birthing and then gave it to Gabby short & boxy.
3. These shoes!
Originally 500-something, marked down to like, not. For a scuff that I likely would have created myself before even having left the store.
3.1 Phillip Lim, people. PHILLIP LIM.
I like to keep my brand name dropping to a minimum,
as you can see.
What does the 3.1 stand for, anyway?
I guess we'll never know *** . . . . . . . . .
Cue curtain drop.
***PS: I just Googled it, and now I know.
