It Takes Two: Midwestern Acne Version

Gross.
hehe

But really.
I've been inspired by Acne's cuffed crop trousers, and random pops of bright color,
and also an army vehicle that was randomly situated at the side of the road because it's Wisconsin and that sort of thing isn't really that weird here.

I actually used to hate trousers, though.
And I still might. I don't know. My thoughts on them have been entirely marred by the contrast between the items with which they're paired.

It's like - how good is a fish filet by itself, really?
Or is it truly that gloppy white speckled sauce, mushed down over-steamed bun, and crispy artificially-composed coating that make it the final decadent delight that it ... is?(??)
Probably shouldn't have overthunk that one.

Anyhoo - you catch my preservative-filled drift.

Some items are just better when paired with their opposite.
Like chocolate and salt.
Or balsamic vinegar and strawberries.
Or my parents.
trousers: H&M, shirt: target, shoes: Nordstrom "Tildon", claw ring: Made Her Think
Any items of clothing you only like as part of a pair?

I love these! Cropped trousers are having a moment, and I love it. Especially with ankle-strap heels. Doesn't sound like it would work, but it absolutely does! Also, I totally get random army/farm vehicles along the side of the road. It's a Midwestern thing. :)
