Guyz.
Pale pink is cool now.
It's like, fashion blogger cool.
Which, frankly, is the only kind of cool I really know anymore.
Whether or not the remainder (read: majority) of the population will understand just how cool wearing a giant pale pink fluffy hat makes me feel is questionable,
but I'm choosing to abstain from asking that question.
Because see how happy it makes me?
Answer: it makes me very happy.
What shames me is the fact that I've been embarrassed about my fascination with this shade of pink for a while now. In truth, it initially started several years ago, when I discovered my strange visceral affection for the special Victoria's Secret hue.
I call it this, because I'd yet to see it anywhere else before seeing it at Vikki's. It was this wonderful color that went perfectly with my olive (read: green) skin, and made me feel feminine but not girly - a unique feat, I assure you.
So I wore it.
In bathrobe form, of course.
So I could indulge in private.
Bathrobes are the coward's form of trend experimentation.
Is your bathrobe lace?
Fluffy?
Velour?
Sheer?
Think about it.
Address it.
And consider wearing it outside the home.

I wonder how many "trends" are just things that people secretly like and then one day decide to wear with intention in public.
Athletic garb? Tennis shoes? Messy hair? Pajamas?
Sure is nice for the broke among us.
Cheers.
