I've never seen a city take its holidays
as seriously as New York does.
Except Paris, maybe. But then again, they take anything seriously- just so long as it's not work.
But New Yorkers?
Every holiday is treated like a sacred, nearly religious, day.
Fashion people also like to talk a lot about what they're going to wear on these days.
So, in true fashion person spirit, here's what I would wear for Labor Day,
if I weren't poor and without half my clothes and actually just spending the day doing laundry.
In my mind, Labor Day is really about one last hurrah(!) for summer before we welcoming in the camel-colored turtleneck monstrosities set to swathe the city this fall.
So, if you have the clothing, money, or the inclination, I recommend you dress really obnoxiously on this gorgeous, 90 degree humidity fest of a day.
